WAYUU MUSIC PROGRAM
The indigenous Wayuu community lives mainly on the border between Colombia and Venezuela, in the state of La Guajira in Colombia and the state of Zulia in Venezuela. There we reside and develop different actions together with the Wayuu Musical teachers o Maestros for the preservation of music.
The music is super original. We invite you to meet it.

WAYUU MUSICAL ARCHIVE FOR ETHNOEDUCATORS
We train teachers to use this educational tool in their classrooms so that more Wayuu children can learn their own music.
THE FIRST WAYUU MUSIC SAMPLING STUDIO
With the support of NATIVE INSTRUMENTS we set up a studio in Uribia (La Guajira, Colombia) equipped with new music production technologies so you can record, sample, remix and compose, using traditional Wayuu music and new musical styles.

WE PRODUCE RECORDS AND PROMOTE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DJS AND PRODUCERS WITH MUSICIANS FROM THE COMMUNITY
This album was composed and produced in Wayuu territory, in combination with the Wayuu Musical Maestros. Samplers and synthesizers are mixed with the Turrompa, the Waaway, and all the native musical instruments.
